Silkscreen printed on dyed abacá paper with ink paste of the salal berry. Abacá or Manila Hemp, is a palm tree fibre widely used in Asia for paper making and weaving. The abacá paper is chine-collé onto the Rives BFK printmaking. This plant is indigenous to the coastal pacific northwest of North America.

The calligraphy is 藍瀛葡菓 oracle Chinese text to name the plant.
