Silkscreen printed on dyed abacá paper with ink paste of the coastal goldenrod flower. Abacá or Manila Hemp, is a palm tree fibre widely used in Asia for paper making and weaving. The abacá paper is chine-collé onto the Rives BFK printmaking. This plant is indigenous to the high alpine and basin of northwestern region of North America.

The calligraphy is 金黃邊菊 oracle Chinese text to name the plant.
